This Is Not a Government or Law Enforcement Office. Missouri Warrant Records is privately operated. We cannot verify a warrant, recall it, accept bond, arrange a surrender, or give legal advice. Contact the issuing court and the sheriff, police department, or other agency assigned to serve the process for case-specific information.
Need Official Warrant Information?
For an official record or a case-specific answer in Missouri, use the office responsible for that record:
- Whether a warrant exists: use Browse Counties to locate the relevant Circuit Clerk or municipal division clerk and the local sheriff or police agency. Public search and confirmation practices vary by office, so ask the responsible office how it handles status inquiries.
- A bench warrant after a missed court date: contact the Circuit Court division handling the case, or the municipal division for a city docket. Missouri's 46 circuit courts include associate and municipal divisions; a municipal division is part of the circuit court structure, not a justice-of-the-peace court. Use Browse Counties to find local offices.
- Resolving or clearing a warrant: ask the issuing court about its procedure and consult a licensed Missouri attorney about a recall, surrender, or bond. Find the relevant court and local service agency through Browse Counties.
- Checking public case information: Missouri Case.net is a statewide case-information portal, not an active-warrant index. Rule 4.24 makes unreturned arrest warrants and associated initial case records confidential beginning July 1, 2026. For general search guidance, see Warrant Check.
- Understanding state and local records: MSHP's CJIS Division administers MULES, but MULES and NCIC are restricted to authorized users. DOR's FACT/NRVC and Lieu of Bail processes concern driver records, not warrant databases. See Warrant Database for how these systems differ.
Warrants are court process, and local offices handle the record and service. Some sheriff offices publish online lists, while others direct inquiries to a records request, the court clerk, or direct contact; no universal public sheriff search is available across Missouri. Use Browse Counties to reach the appropriate county or City of St. Louis resources. Rule 2 and Rule 4 govern judicial record access, while Chapter 610, RSMo, is the Missouri Sunshine Law for public-government records.
