This policy describes information gathered when you use this site, the ways it may be used, and the circumstances in which it may be shared. By browsing the website, you agree to these practices.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

Information entered into a name or date-of-birth search tool is sent to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the query and returns its results; we do not keep or log those search terms ourselves.

Messages and Contact Submissions

We retain emails sent to us so we can respond. Such messages are kept within our organization and are not shared externally unless the law requires disclosure.

Data We Gather Automatically

When a page loads, our servers record basic technical details about the visit, which may include:

  • When each page was viewed
  • Your device's IP address
  • Pages opened and the time spent on them
  • The referring website, when available
  • Your browser and its version
  • The kind of device and operating system in use

Cookies and Analytics

This site uses cookies, small files placed on your device, to understand broad usage patterns such as popular pages and where visits end. Analytics services help combine those traffic details. You can block cookies in your browser settings, although some site features may then work differently.

What We Do With This Data

  • Maintaining site availability and performance
  • Forwarding search queries to the relevant partner
  • Measuring page use to understand what is helpful
  • Diagnosing and correcting technical problems
  • Displaying advertising that may reflect visitor interests

No Warrant Data on File

Missouri Warrant Records does not host, maintain, compile, or sell warrant databases or personal warrant files. Missouri has no public statewide active-warrant search. Case.net provides public case information, not a warrant index; MULES, administered by the Missouri State Highway Patrol's CJIS Division, and NCIC are restricted to authorized law-enforcement users. DOR's FACT/NRVC and Lieu of Bail actions concern driver records rather than warrant databases. Our pages explain these separate systems and direct readers to the court and local agency handling a record. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not assembled into consumer reports or files about other people.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside providers operate the search boxes on this site. A query entered there is handled under that provider's privacy policy, including its rules for retaining and sharing data. We do not control those practices, so read the provider's policy before using a search tool.

Links to Other Websites

Links on this site may lead to court portals, local sheriff or police pages, legal-aid organizations, and commercial search providers. Once you leave our website, the destination's privacy policy applies. Review it before providing personal details.

Some advertising partners may use their own systems to follow activity across websites and select targeted ads. We do not operate that tracking.

Who Might See Your Data

We do not sell personal data. Information may be shared with these types of recipients:

  • Advertising networks that serve ads on the site
  • Government or law-enforcement entities responding to a valid legal demand
  • Analytics providers measuring site traffic and performance
  • Search companies that process queries entered into their tools

How We Protect Your Data

We use standard security measures to protect information collected through the site. No online system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee that a breach will never occur.

Users Under 18

This site is intended for adults, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that a minor has provided information, we will delete it promptly.

Your Data Rights

Missouri's Sunshine Law, Chapter 610, RSMo, concerns public-government records; judicial records are separately governed by Supreme Court Operating Rules 2 and 4. These access rules do not govern information held by this private website. You may ask us to:

  • Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
  • Have us fix information that is wrong
  • Request that we erase your data
  • Opt out of certain kinds of data processing
